The NAI Story

The founder and force behind NAI, David Negus, worked for leading organizations for the first 25 years of his career as an internal auditor, investigator, and capacity builder. During these years, his key role was to develop and operate the financial and administrative systems that allowed several very large ($300m-$500m per year) organizations run complex operations in dozens of global locations, some of them extremely challenging and difficult. His work also discovered and ended major fraud in multiple locations, resulting in recovery of assets and the dismissal and/or punishment of those responsible for these crimes.

David’s decision to incorporate NAI was prompted by the clear demand and need for this range of skills and service. After six years of operations the company has successfully provided practical solutions and results for over 20 different companies in over 60 countries around the world. The auditing system and processes that David developed before forming his own company, Negus Associates, were extremely successful, and they form the basis of the services that NAI offers to its customers.   • Based on successful systems, construction of standard field policies and procedures for financial and administrative operations through the preparation and maintenance of Overseas Finance Manuals and other necessary manuals and documents (some specific to a certain country, others global)
  • Provision of training and support to reduce or prevent fraud and corruption in the field
  • Improvement of general financial skills and capabilities of senior field staff and technical staff through workshops and on-the-ground training
  • Establishment of standard field accounting software solutions which can be installed in all field operations
